| This is a 2 Part class. Registering for part #1 automatically secures your space for Part #2 October 11, 2011. Register today for this amazing introductory class featuring renowned artist and face painter Amanda Toszer Amanda Tozser, Biography Drawing and painting since I was a small child, my formal art training was with the University of Saskatchewan where I studied Art Education and Fine Arts completing in 1994. I have presented my work at numerous art exhibitions winning recognition and awards for my graphite drawings and acrylic paintings. I was the primary Walt Disney Muralist for Famous Players Canada for over 10 years. Upon moving to Calgary in 1996 I continued art studies and started teaching workshops and introduction to art courses. For several years I limited my promotional art to raise a family. In 2009 I extended my art services into detailed face and body painting. I continue to train with some of the best body artists in the world and at present am studying special effects makeup along with custom prosthetics. I am a member of the Canadian Association of Face and Body Artists. I reside in Airdrie, Alberta where I still teach classes and keep close community ties to art promotion. In class 1 Students will be educated on health & safety, product, technique and brush strokes. Students will be required to practice their skills for 1 full week and in class 2 where the skills learned will be used to create 2 classic faces, The Butterfly and the Tiger. Each student will receive a Starter Kit consisting of: 6 color Snazaroo Rainbow Palette Face Painting Book "Eye Designs" Small round brush Med round brush Larger Filbert brush Silver Glitter Sponge Class will start promptly at 6:30. Students are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to classes and come prepared with the following items: 4 plastic cups – for holding brush water Baby wipes Q-tips Measuring spoons Hand sanitizer Small case to hold kit supplies Please label all supplies as Stir Crazy is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
